Overview

Safe management of radioactive wastes is KORAD's first principle to improve public trust.

KORAD was established to safely and transparently manage radioactive wastes in 2009 as quasi-governmental organization.

As a public organization with social responsibilities to achieve the vision 'Safe and Trusted KORAD', KORAD focuses on core values, 'Knowledge, Openness, Reliability, Advancement and Duty

Furthermore, KORAD has been stepping on the center of the energy transition era in Korea. In the circumstance, safe management organization of high level radioactive wastes can be regarded as a pioneer to open a new era for energy transition.

Under the era of social responsibilities for safe management of radioactive wastes with expert knowledge, various communication, job creation and mutual development for the society, KORAD will become a 'Public Platform' to make people satisfied.
